The Lymiad is a long satirical poem taking the form of letters from Lyme Regis to a friend at Bath, written during the autumn of 1818 – the height of the Regency period made famous by Jane Austen, when both Lyme and Bath were top tourist destinations. The Lymiad was published by Lyme Regis Museum just over a year ago, and is available from the Museum shop either by visiting in person or by mail order.
